What is an Open Studio?

· This is a time where those who have attended one of my classes at least once can come back as an individual and make something else that you are interested in.

· You may have seen some projects or some molds/shapes that interested you, or you want to create some gifts for others, or garden art for the summer, there are LOTS of options!

Will the Open Studio have an Instructor?

· I will be there at the Open Studio mentoring and answering questions and helping you select the best options for creating your vision. This is not an instruction-led class but free time with Q and A and some guidance.

How many people can attend an Open Studio?

· I will open the studio for EVEN ONE participant and no more than 6. The big difference you will see is that you will be sharing space with others that were not in your original group, and may be working on my own projects.

· I will take reservations for the date(s) open and if there are more interested than there is room, I will find additional dates that work for you.

· The studio will be open for three hours. You do not need to attend the entire time. Some projects may take more time than that and we can discuss your needs individually.

What if I want to bring someone that has never been to the studio before?

· Because of the nature of this type of studio time, the only people who can sign up MUST have previous experience. If you have a friend that wants to join you, consider finding at least two other friends/family and contact me and I will set up a special time JUST FOR YOU and your group, or sign up for a Community Ed class first. I will then be able to offer more instruction and personal attention to those who have not attended a class before.

How much does it cost?

· The cost of your studio time and project will depend on what it is you want to make. After you arrive, we will discuss your vision for your project and find the most cost-effective solution to end up with a beautiful piece of glass art!
